Beautiful blog! Reminds me of the song, "Let My Words Be Few" ... "and I stand in awe of you, Jesus ... so let my words be few ... Jesus I am so in love with you."

Re: The Enabler

That's something I often struggle with improving financial assistance for people. Sometimes it's difficult to know whether the best help in a specific situation is short-term assistance or allowing them the opportunity to grow and the motivation to change by experiencing the effects of their actions.

Re: Forgotten God Study: Chapter Six

Thank you so much for this study guide! I lead a young adult group at my church, and we've been going through "Forgotten God". This has been so helpful in my preparation each week. Thanks!!!

Re: Plugged In and Tuned Out?

I think that's where fasting comes in. Thank you for sharing this. The idea of radical forgiveness is so interesting to me, I think it's really incredible. I just finished reading "Forgiving the Unforgivable" by Master Charles Cannon (http://forgivingtheunforgivabl..., and he talks about his own experiences with forgiving the terrorists behind the 2008 Mumbai attack, of which he was a victim. It's a wonderful example of radical forgiveness at work!

Re: Project One – Algeria

thank God, the Algerian Church IS growing! there are now over 100,000 Algerian Christians where were almost none a generation ago! thats part of the reason for increased persecution

Re: Being the Domino: Joshua Project

I am overwhelmed at the data represented in the Joshua Project material and considering that your staff strength is just 3, I can only imagine the extent of work that will be accomplished with other volunteers. Reading through these today, i think the Lord is giving me a fresh and challenged vision on missions, especially the children. My first response now is that God uphold your work till the task is accomplished. Remain blessed. While we are suppose to be the body of Christ, there are some 30,000 different Christian denominations in the world, some of which are quite hostile toward our own brothers and sisters.

Re: Lessons from a 4 year old

From Stan, Thanks, Whitt, for being so sensitive to our Father. What lessons we can learn, by simply... listening. This writing has touched my spirit, and has helped me to understand more of this past weeks challenges and battles. It is easy to "think" we are enjoying Him, or walking with Him, but many times it is only when it is convenient, or on my time table, and not His. Our Father wants us to be with Him ALL the time. I will admit, I need to be more like Eric. May God help me to actually ENJOY Him more than ever by expanding my capacity to love Him, Jesus and The Holy Spirit.

Re: Lessons from a 4 year old

Dawson is the same way. Here is what I believe about Scripture. I believe that the Bible is complete, authoritative, and true. “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness” (2 Timothy 3:16). I believe the Word of God is the only authority for the Christian faith. I also believe that traditions are valid only when they are based on Scripture and are in full agreement with Scripture. Traditions that contradict the Bible are not of God and are not a valid aspect of the Christian faith. In the book, Chan encourages us to seek out what tradition says, but to believe is Biblical.

Re: Forgotten God Study – Introduction

By all means!
